While I was impressed with the French Quarter of New Orleans, I found myself walking around town taking very few shots, mostly because it all felt somewhat derivative. So many people had photographed this place before, what could I say about it through photography? Sure, I could take a few good shots that would be my own, but would they be much different than anything else others have done?
